Meet the Crew: Captain Dwayne, a Master Mariner and seasoned NauticEd and ASA instructor, and First Mate Denice have been living aboard Ransom for five years. Together, they sailed up and down the Eastern Seaboard, explored the Bahamas, and crossed from Annapolis to Bermuda before heading south through the Caribbean islands.
-Captain Dwayne: With a professional maritime career that spans the globe, including the Canadian Arctic, Dwayne brings extensive experience and safety expertise. His STCW training covers advanced fire safety, rescue operations, and marine first aid. Known for his patient teaching style, he’s dedicated to making your experience safe and enjoyable.
-First Mate Denice: With ASA certifications and years of experience as a liveaboard sailor, Denice shares a unique perspective from a non-marine background. Her love of travel and friendly approach to sharing the liveaboard lifestyle make every trip memorable.
Ransom is equipped with two private cabins, two heads with electric toilets, a spacious galley with filtered drinking water, BBQ, dual fridges and freezers, and a choice of five sails to suit different wind conditions. Dwayne and Denice would love to welcome you on board for a 7-14 day journey through the stunning waters of the Lesser Antilles, from Grenada to St. Maarten.
